How safe is it for you to leave a large (to you) chunk of your bankroll in Neteller?

They are publicly traded and very safe and reputable. If you want to feel bad about missing an investment opportunity look up their stock chart, someone made lots of money!

Oh I don't mean like risk of them screwing you, I meant risk of someone outside somehow taking your money.

I don't think it's quantifyable. If you keep your PC safe and up to date, the chance is greatly reduced.

I wish there was a way to bind access to your account to your own IP address the way LiveJournal does.

A quick story for you. Last summer I was in Barcelona for poker and tried to access my account from an area outside of my usual area. It instantly locked me out and gave me a number to call. They track where you access it from and if it was across the world or country they dont let them in and you have to call and confirm a lot of info. So... it's safer than most sites.

Thread Jack- What about Party's IGM-pay bank account system is that as reliable? I just use my checking account for transactions so I keep almost all my money in savings. Any chance someone can get into my savings even though that account isn't registered?

Jurollo can you give me a link to their quote listing? I had initially wanted to invest in Neteller when it was first available but when I checked it their initial IPO was very high. I think I might have looked up the wrong symbol. Can you link me to their charts, thanks.

[ QUOTE ]
well it has actually come down quite a bit, still 150% increase from the initial quote. Neteller, LSEX [/ QUOTE ] thanks, so I wasn't wrong. I remembered seeing on neteller's website that they were going public. When I check their initial offering it was something like $150 US I think. Thought it was pretty high back then so I was a little unsure. Had it been a little lower I would've invested quite a bit on neteller. |
