Default AK out of position

You are playing in a one table winner-take-all SnG for a WSOP seat. In your first big blind (1500 chips, 10/20), you pick up AK. UTG limps, the next player makes it 140(!) to go, and the small blind calls. The raiser is a known idiot; on hand one he limped in with 22, called a raise to 200(!!) out of position, and flopped a set to break his opponent, who held a big pair. What is your play, and does the read matter?
