Default Running bad, some typical hands

Had to do some manual editing to the hand histories because of the converter not working properly as usual

Here we go

Hand 1
turn bet too small?, should I have checked?, who calls the all in?

Villain VP$IP 41%/ PFR 3%/ AF 0.75 good showdown percentage

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 4 handed) converter

UTG ($18.15)
Button ($149.55)
Hero ($45.8)
BB ($48.23)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $0.25.
UTG calls $0.50, 1 fold, Hero (poster) completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($1.50) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets $1.5, BB raises to $3, UTG folds, Hero raises to $8, BB calls $5.

Turn: ($17.50) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $8, BB raises all in,Hero folds.

Hand 2
Ok villain is very aggro and bluffs a lot, thought I would just let him bluff the whole way, but who raises the river, should I have raised the turn? Would anyone call if he pushed after a raise from me?

villain, VP$IP 56%/ PFR 6% / AF 11

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 3 handed) converter

Final Pot: $20.25

Hand 3
villain has VP$IP 60%/ PFR 20% / AF 4

Who plays like this against possible overcards, what alternative ways do you take, just call and see if he checks 4th street? What do you think is best?

I'm sorry you're "running bad" but you played these hands very poorly. 4-handed you MUST raise AJ, small blind or not. I have no idea why you played so passive on the AK hand, what do you see him having on the river to beat you? i take it from your title he backdoored a flush or something but you make far more by raising at some point, if not every street, in this hand.

Hand 3 just doesn't need to happen. You will make plenty flopping sets that you don't need to hemorrhage cash when you haven't.

ok, so Hand 3, you think I would be better of just folding to the bet or calling? I think you are right about the AJ hand, I had some sort of silly thinking that I didn't want a weaker ace to fold or something.

On hand 3 you should raise the flop and/or river and possibly fold to a river reraise by BB.

Oh...yeah...always fold on hand 3 there...I say again, you'll make so much with flopped sets versus aggressive overcard holding opponents or overpairs that "feeling around" with what is a middle pair just isn't worth it.
