Yeah after one year in college, I realized how much racism surrounds somebody that grows up in a white, conservative town. My theory is that this racism will thin out after the baby boomer generation's kids are gone. An example - my parents are semi-racist, but it didn't really rub off on me and my little brothers. Most of our friends are different races, despite our parents.
