Huh? You folded aces on this non-scary board? 1/4 times he has KK. The other 3 times he has AK or AKs. Cap the flop for value, check/call to the river if he comes over top on the turn.
If he is tight-aggressive he plays AK the same way, particularly AKc. You can't even think about folding here. Your equity is even greater with MP1 still in there. Edit: I want to add that MP1's actions (limp, call 2 cold preflop, raise the flop, call to the river) indicated that he held KQ or KJ, making it even less likely that the capper held KK. |

Nah he can have AK reasonably often. I'd cap the flop. If not, I'd smooth call intending on raising the turn, or 3-betting it too.

I prefer capping the flop and leading the turn. I'd call down if raised of the turn, unless it's 2BB back to me.
I think the PF capper may play AK this way as well. |

A good question to ask yourself now is how come you could not put him on the possibility of AK (even if it turns out that is not what he had). Would you have played it differently? Less aggressive? His play was fine, and something to learn from.

as stupid as this may sound, it was mostly his betting style that tipped me off
with all the preflop action, you would think that the capper would consider his options after the flop came out.. but apparently he had his party on autobet/raise for both the turn and flop i know it sounds stupid.. but that was my thinking |

Top pair with AK is a good hand too, why wouldn't he like it? And yeah, I think you realized this, but I wouldn't often read much into "online tells". Occassionally, you might pick something up from a specific player (always waits a long time as if mulling a hard decision before betting/checking when he has a really strong hand), but that aside, it could be anything, including a "strong means weak tell", where he's acting strong because he isn't (donking it up with QQ or something).

haha true... I think the problem also is that i just moved up from .50/1 (i do have the roll for 1/2) and its just a lil change seeing call 4$ and such
i'm wondering if i woulda called it down in a .40/1 game.. probably yeah =) and he did have pocket kings if he had ak i would've stabbed myself =) |

FWIW, most autoraises means a vulnerable hand, typically high PP with overcard on flop or a made hand afraif of draws.
Had the flush draw not been out, I don't think he would be autobetting. |

The micro-limit forum is a better place for 1/2 hands.
