Default What Kind Of ROI Should One Expect?

I am trying to decide whether it is worthwhile to become a fairly good NL Holdem single table tournament player. I would be playing about 3-4 SnG's at a time at the $10/1 or $20/2 level.

What kind of ROI should one expect at these levels? What are some of you players ROI? And what level/buy-in is this at?

P.S. Also are the other games (stud, limit holdem, omaha, or high-low) very profitable to play at the single table tournaments at these levels/buy-ins?

I think any positive ROI is good. If you have 10%+ at $11s and $22s it is a good start and it will go up when you fix leaks in your game.

Now if you look at the ROI posted on these forums you might get the idea that you suck if you don't have a 30% ROI. That is for the simple reason that people for the most part only post their ROI when they feel proud about them.

It's true and we can regret it.
I'm still waiting for some courageous guy to post his ROI on his last 2000 games ...

You should expect a -9% ROI.

You should hope for a 0% ROI.

You should aim for something > 0%

You could be like Yugo and not keep track of your ROI. Then, maybe it won't even exist.
