AC this weekend

Spur of the moment AC trip. I will be at the Borgata playing anything from 10 to 40 depending on waiting lists and how the games look. I will be the skinny 20-something kid with the red Phillies visor on. Say "hi" or check-raise me or both.

I plan on playing tomorrows 10:00 am $100 +$20 freezout n/l tournament at the Taj Mahal.

After I bust out I will probably stay and jump into a $10 game or a $15 game.

If I come over to the Borgata I will look for you.

Have a room @ Borg tomorrow night.. I'll get there whenever I wake up + ~2hrs. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] I'll probably be playing 10/20 or 2/5NL depending on lists.

Thinking about trying the Sands 9pm tourny for something different. Anyone know how big it usually is?

2/5 lists have had a lot of players. Check in, call the poker room from your room and ask to have your name added to the lists. The floor will call your room to let you know your seat has become available.

Since I'll be there tomorrow I haven't made any bets yet. I will bet on Alex, but probably just enough to cover some other longshot bets that I'll be making because there is no money to be made betting the favorite.

mike,

betting on the favorite in a triple crown race is akin to having aces against 9 opponents, none of whom have any chips left. either one of two results:
1. you win a worthless pot, or
2. one of the longshots comes in to get you.

hope that helps. not that i encourage you to gamble on sports or see how this pertains to the current post...
