KK no way I\'m ahead
I have a big problem. I can't lay down a hand! KK here, super obvious I am beat with the action and this flop. The only possible hand I am beating is AK but I still donk it up. Is there a way to figure out he has AA preflop? i was thinking make it 25 and fold if he pushes? I had just sat down 1 orbit ago, no reads.
Seat 3: button ($94.58 in chips) Seat 4: villain SB ($88.89 in chips) Seat 5: hero ($82.36 in chips) villain: posts small blind $0.50 hero: posts big blind $1 ----- HOLE CARDS ----- dealt to hero [Kc Ks] button: calls $1 villain: raises to $2 hero: raises to $5 button: calls $4 villain: raises to $12 hero: calls $7 button: calls $7 ----- FLOP ----- [Jd 9h Qd] villain: bets $20 hero: raises to $46 button folds villain: raises to $72 deeznutso: is all-in $24.36 Returned uncalled bets $1.64 to villain ----- TURN ----- [Jd 9h Qd][9s] ----- RIVER ----- [Jd 9h Qd 9s][2c] villain has AA of course. |

Re: KK no way I\'m ahead
you lucked out and found a flop that lets you get away, so just follow your intuition.

Is there a way to figure out he has AA preflop? hero: raises to $5 villain: raises to $12 [/ QUOTE ] seems like a pretty good indication to me. |

Re: KK no way I\'m ahead
Aces over Kings will happen, it's part of the game. However with a flop like this and some laggy opponents (who probably like hands like QJ way too much), this flop is not to hard to get off.
What hands is villan going to put it all in with that you are ahead to ? The only two things I can think of is an AQ or if he is really bad Kq. So you have to figure most of the time you are extremely far behind in this hand. |
