i play 10/20 and easy situations still confuse me
villain is TAG. i think my usual line would be to check/raise this flop, call if 3-bet, and then fold the turn unimproved. don't know why i did it different this time. i prolly should have led the river and folded to a raise.
anyways you can comment on the specific hand or gimmie your standard line. Re: i play 10/20 and easy situations still confuse me
I 3-bet preflop. In your shoes I lead the river. I don't see much value (or benefit) in raising the flop, but that's probably why I 3-bet preflop- I think you're ahead of a lot more of his hands than I think you think you are here.

I actually never considered 3-betting this preflop. I might be ahead of KJ, KT, K9s, K8s, QJ, QT, maybe Q9s.. and about even money with lots of pocket pairs. There are a whole slew of Ax hands i'm behind though, maybe all the way down to A4s and A7o. I suppose I might be able to get a fold from a smaller pocket pair on a scary flop, and the hand would be easier to play post flop.. i'm just a little uncomfortable raising here. [ QUOTE ] I think you're ahead of a lot more of his hands than I think you think you are here. [/ QUOTE ] Is this just a general statement or do you have first hand knowledge?
