I probably 3-bet the flop.

Is capping the river out of line? You have like the 4th nuts behind a 9, KK and JJ. None of those seem too likely, although I suppose JJ and a lone 9 are possibilities.

against an unknown, it's better to 3-bet. But against a LAG, I'd say go for a turn check/raise.

So, like everyone said, not 3-betting the flop here was sinful.

But, is everyone really that far in favor of betting the river? It's not how many hands that beat me that's important. I just don't see many hands that call a 3-bet here that I'm ahead of, and I'm probably chopping it a large portion of the time. Anyways, villain showed down J9o and MHIVNG
