How to play this AK...
I have been here for about 3 orbits or so. Villian hasn't played much, but like I said only 3 orbits.
Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is CO with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. UTG calls, 5 folds, Hero raises, Button 3-bets, 2 folds, UTG calls, Hero calls. Flop: (10.50 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) UTG checks, Hero bets, Button raises, UTG folds, Hero 3-bets, Button caps, Hero calls. Turn: (9.25 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero...? Whats your plan for the rest of the way? What do you put villian on? |

Re: How to play this AK...
Cap pf.
Looks like a chop to me, or you're WB. I prolly c/c down. Also, 3 orbits is an eternity. I would concentrate on that first. |

Re: How to play this AK...
I think you can keep playing your 2 pair aggressively. The chances that you are beat are small: JQ does not play the flop and preflop this way. 88 does not play preflop this way, usually. Could be a TT preflop, but the flop action does not make me think of TT. AA and KK are unlikely here, do you see why? It can also be a flush draw.. |

The A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] are gone... whoops- K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] --> K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] |

Re: How to play this AK...
yeah, AA & KK vs AK happens frequently enough in my book.

Re: How to play this AK...
It seems crazy, but just call down. Given the preflop action you're either going to chop or lose to KK or AA.

Re: How to play this AK...
Yes I see why AA KK are not likely.
What hand 3 bets preflop and caps that flop that I can beat? Maybe KQ [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]'s. |

[/ QUOTE ] I think you can bet this turn, if he raises, call down. That said, calling him down after the flop is probably fine too. |

Cap pf. [/ QUOTE ] Out of position? Meh. Maybe since that other donk is trapped in there. |
