Default AKo UTG with Flush Board

No real reads, 2nd orbit, GT+ has Table VP at 31%

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
Hero raises, 1 fold, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, 3 folds, SB calls, 1 fold.

Flop: (9 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, MP1 calls, MP2 raises, SB folds, Hero 3-bets, MP1 folds, MP2 calls.

Turn: (8 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP2 bets, Hero???

In looking back, maybe I should have bet the Turn? I really felt he called my 3 bet with the flush draw. When the J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] hit I checked as I figured I was behind, I had no diamond, and there was still another card to come.

Had the turn been a blank I would have fired and called a raise.

I would have bet the turn. There's no special reason to put MP2 on the flush; he could easily just have a smaller K.

I bet the turn, call a raise, then check/call the river. (Unless another diamond hits)

I'm betting the turn and calling a raise. I'm also calling one on the river unless a 4th [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] falls.

Good advice. Given your play, you have to call the turn.

If I bet the Turn I'd have most likely folded to a raise. What's your line here making you bet/call then check/call?

This is really monsters under the bed syndrome. You need to lead out on the turn and call down if he raises. The way you played it, it's getting more difficult, I'd raise the turn and then re-evaluate.

For the times he's pushing a K with a weak(lower than our A) kicker, which I think is as likely than the flush.

I really think the combined odds of KJ and a flush are significantly higher than TPTK. I probably call this down too since we need to be good only 1 in 6 for it to be correct, but I kinda wonder if it's a leak.

You're prolly right, but I just can't see making a habit of folding TPTK on a somewhat scary board every time I get c/r on the turn. With a solid read (re:many more hands than one session) that he only does this with hands that have me crushed, then I think I can find a fold. Of course, if we have enough hands together to get this kind of read, then it becomes a "he knows that I know that he knows..."
