I only have two black chips, playing $5/10.
I call all streets, preflop, flop, turn, river, and dealer gives me the change at the end, from the black chip I put in. He did not do it immediately. 6 hands later, he tells me he gave me $10 in change too much, and I have to give the winner of the hand $10. Should I give it to the guy? |

uh, 6 hands ago? No way. Unless I was sure he is correct. In which case I probably would have said something at the time anyway.

WTF? How does he suddenly realize this six hands later? No way.

How did he know, six hands later, that he had made a mistake?

I said call the floor.
Floor came over. Dealer explained, she said give the guy $10. I said no. They call pit boss' boss over. He said he'd go check the eye in the sky. So "went and watched the tape" and said if I didn't give the money back I'd be banned. So I gave the guy the $10 and went on tilt. |

Woa,
Talk about nothing you can do. This sucks. Say no, call floor...they tell you to pay....what are you going to do...pay or go home. |

I've heard of this happening several times on table games...(craps, BJ, etc...) Floor supervisor would receive a call from the eye in the sky and said a player got overpaid/paid on a push...and if he didn't give the money back, he would be asked to leave... This is the first time I've heard of this in poker. My problem is why would the dealer ask for the money? If I realized I made the mistake AFTER another hand has already been dealt (let alone 6), I probably wouldnt say/do anything unless the shortchanged player said anything...
