2 things...
(Im putting 1 here, because I dont want to have to type it again)
1. Something that bothers me is when people say something like "He wouldnt fold anyway." Lets say, for example, someone will make a "wait for the turn" type play. Because, on the flop, they arent able to protect their hand with a raise. People often combat this with: "People at this limit wont fold anyway. So, you cant protect your hand" This is not right. The idea of protecting your hand is completely unrelated to whether or not villian will call. Protecting our hand means WE ARE PUTTING VILLIAN IN A SPOT WHERE HE CANT CALL PROFITABLY. When we do this WE WANT him to call, because we make more when he calls than when he folds. Protection is NOT winning the pot, it is putting villians into lose-lose situtions, where they either have to fold a hand with outs, or call with improper odds. 2. Now that this is out of the way, I am using this thread (and encourage others to do so as well) to make wild Salem Witchtrial-esque accusations as to the identity of S. Perry. Who is very possibly a gimmick account, given: - His obvious ability - Knowledge of the boards With very minimal evidence, it appears he is in the NYC crowd, and I will claim he is either: sfer of sthief09

What exactly is gained or lost by creating a second identity?

most notably using small equity edges preflop and on the flop to justify bets/raises, or the lack of an equity edge to forego a raise, when in fact the hand may play out differently if you choose differently than what fair share would suggest.
I'm sure there are others
