Default MGM Grand question

Group of colleagues will be staying at MGM for an industry event later this month. We're hoping to spend a good deal of time in the new poker room.

vegaspoker.com says MGM spreads 6/12, 10/20 and 20/40 in addition to the lower limits.

As a practical matter though, will we find the mid and higher limit tables running there most of the time?

And if anyone has experience there, how are those games?

no. The biggest they had was the occasional 10/20 and the highest NL was 2/5. It was regularly running a few tables though.

I sat in a 10/20 game twice last weekend, and it was great both times. They had it going a few other times, but I was busy straddling and blind capping at 3/6 with college friends. I never saw any 20/40, but I did see 5/10 NL three times, and a list for 10/25NL once. No idea how the 2/5 NLs were, since I didn't play them. The 6/12 limit often had a 1/2 or full kill, which was SUPERB.

They have gotten the 20/40 going sometimes on weekends, and the 10/20 seems to be going almost every weekend.

I wouldn't bank on either game being offered consistently during the weekdays though (and definintely not the 20/40).
