yeh i agree, Trying to avoid this.

I like to see my Bankroll increase, Really need to stop this and not care about losing the odd $10 etc to a well played hand beat by a better hand (Or river).

Common beginners, Maybe even advanced problem

hahah! i totally know what you mean about bankroll and getting "tied" to the money- wait 'til you hit .5/1

playing .25/.5 and you're down a couple bucks- no big deal. when you see that thing drop by 2,3, &4+ dollars a hand- ouch! you'll get over it quick enough when you realize your hand winnings are even bigger now too

I remember that feeling of 'Whoa... that's $1 I just bet' when I moved to .5/1. And feeling a bit of it at 1/2 when I was here briefly, too. You get used to it.

Good luck and grats!

I got over this by not investing any of my own money in my poker endeavor.

Started with Instant Bankroll and have built my roll through Bonuses. So I am playing with "house money." If I lose it doesn't matter because it wasn't mine to begin with.

That's still a feat of discipline (or delusion, perhaps). Money is money, it doesn't matter where it comes from once it's in your "pocket."

If you have $200 come over to Paradise using the "Granny" bonus. It's easy to clear even at .25/.50 . I suck and in just over a month I've doubled up including the bonus. The game's soft. I'm sure you'll do well.

I started with $50 at Pacific Poker, and I've never busted out. I'm damn sure that the money I'm playing with now is NOT mine (well, it is mine NOW, but it wasn't).

Doesn't devalue it a bit to me.
