SB is a good player; Button is a donkey.

I don't like it. I can't see him folding a better hand, which he probably has here most of the time, unless he's pulling off a sick float, which he isn't cause he's a donkey.

I don't know exactly what you mean by "donkey" but I am very inclined to threebet this turn against most players.

Maybe my turn three bet is spewing. If you put him on a straight or a flush as his most likely holdings I definitely wouldn't bet the river. |

I think a river bet would be fantastic against a straight.
However, I think a flush is probably more likely. Hence, I agree this was not a good time to bet the river. I should have check/folded. Yes? No? |

You really think he'd fold a straight on the end for 1 bet?

Yeah it doesnt make much sense here given the 4th street aggression. You both saw the same spade come out but he still raised. If he was raising on the come, he got there. If he had a made flush on 4th street, you're dead on the river. (Same if he hit a gutshot on 4th street.) I think there are no hands that you can beat, that you can get to fold on the river here.

Clark's theorem is a value bet. I don't see much that calls you that you have beat (J9 and 97). But, I don't know what donkey implies. Could he raise this turn with something like JT, KJ, or T9?
**It could change the answer from c/f to b/f** |

I don't like it. Buttons play is consistent with a flush. Coldcalling the flop then raising when the flush hits. Even if he did hit a small one he won't fold the river for one bet.
I've been finding this out slowly at this lvl. You will get looked up on the river by a lot of crap doing that play, as well as a river raise on the 4 flush board. |
