Why would it be xenophobic? To root against people who are foreigners might be, but if you are rooting for them for any reason..nothing xenophobic about that.

Its not a matter of like or dislike. I find their names humorous (which, while sophomoric, is nonetheless the case) and, in their cultural context that may be disrespectful. Thats why I said "mildly" xenophobic.
