No, you couldn't have done anything, and you deserve a tasing from the Bad Beat Police for posting this hand.

If you are serious, stop playing above your bankroll.

If you're just dicking around, . That sucks. You know you couldnt' have done anything. This happens every once in a while.

Yeah I've seen 1. My friend has 99, calls a raise. Flop comes Q99. 3 persons to the flop. First guy checks,My friend checks, another guy bets, other 2 cold call. Turn is Q. Check Check, same guy bets, both call. River is a blank, guy leads for 4 dollars into a 20 dollar pot. My friend with Quad 9s goes allin for 100 more hoping both other guys have a Queen for Queens full, well the initial raiser folds and the other guy flips over QQ for Quads vs Quads. Oh, Happy day. I watched the hand on Party, in shock.

you raised preflop and were re-raised and called.

then you check-called the flop which tells villain that you can beat his aces.

but he bets into you anyway on the turn, so he is basically saying he has your queens beat.

easy fold when he bets into you on the turn.

i would have bet $6 on the flop and folded if raised, or if called just check/fold later streets unless i improved on the turn or river.

LOL!!
It's funny because on irc yesterday, this .01/.02 guy was bitching about flopping a boat, and the villain rivering a bigger boat and Diablo, tells him that a fh is a weak hand on a paired board because some1 else can have quads, and people lose a lotta money to fh's, and the other guy was completely believing this sh*t.
I got "lucky" one hand, i had AA, 3 to the flop, flop comes down A99. The waitress comes with my drink..i turn around to tip her, and i guess i knocked my card protecting chip away and dealer swept away my cards. I go ballistic..floor is called..and my hand is declared dead.
At showdown, one guy has AK, the other has 99.
The guy with the 99 had a stack of about $25k, mine was about $30k, i woulda lost $25k that hand!! After the hand, i tipped the dealer and the waitress each $25.

I can see tipping the waitress, but why would you tip the dealer?
