How Bad?
Online 5/10. Player F is bigtime maniac. Player E is sort of maniac, too.
Hero limps with 55, B calls, C calls, D calls, E calls, F raises, Hero calls, B calls, C calls, D calls, E raises, F calls, Hero calls, etc. Flop: K33 rainbow ----- Around 20 small bets. Hero checks, B checks, C checks, D checks, E checks, F bets, Hero calls, B calls, C calls, D calls, E calls. Turn: 8 ----- About 13 Big bets Hero checks, B checks, C checks D checks, E checks, F bets, Hero raises, B reraises, C folds, D folds, E folds, F calls, Hero folds. Player B shows down 88, for eights full. My thinking was that I could knock out the players behind me, who might fold middle pocket pairs that beat me, and get heads up with the maniac, who hopefully I have beat. In retrospect, I think this play was too expensive, since I was only getting about seven to one on my play. What do you guys think. Should I have raised the flop, maybe? I don't usually get this fancy, incidentally. |

Re: How Bad?
why not raise the flop???
otherwise it seems ok to convince everyone to fold on the turn. you've got a decent chance at being ahead and the pot is huge. good try and good fold after. -WT |
