Button (t2005)
Hero (t7578)
BB (t4442)
UTG (t17585)
UTG+1 (t9040)
MP1 (t1745)
MP2 (t5060)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP3 raises to t550</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to t7578</font>

That's MP3's standard raise. He raised once like that in MP last orbit and limped once in MP3 as well.

Wow, aggressive. I only do this if I'm swinging back at a persistant blind stealer, or someone weak-tight who I haven't tried this on. Without a specific read I don't know if I think this is a good move. Definitely NOT a standard move. If he calls, you're likely against 1010-AA or AK or AQ. If he's foolhardy and calls with AJ, KQ, KJ, 99-77 then you are still at best 60/40. If he folds you aren't getting a lot of chips. If he calls, you're likely crippled.

I think MP3 has way many chips for me to make this move. You can fold.

I really hate folding a decent hand like that to a possible steal-raise.

Then call... you're only getting called by a hand that beats ATs.

If I'm feeling frisky and expect this to be a steal attempt, then I'll do one of two things.

1) Pop back pre-flop 3-3.5 times re-raise. (This is my standard move)
2) Call, then bet a safe looking flop. (This I use against someone who doesn't like to lay down raised hand pre-flop).

Easy fold.. ATs is not a premium hand and is most likely beat.
