Question on religious spammer
Religious guy (AmyBlueBMW05) just popped up. I banned him. I did this by username. However he will surely be back. Should I do IP? If so when? Banning by IP might affect other 2+2'ers btw.
Just covering all ends... |

Re: Question on religious spammer
It would only work if it was a static IP.

[ QUOTE ]
How would banning by IP effect others? [/ QUOTE ] A static IP address is very rare these days. Nearly all ISPs provide "dynamic" IPs for their customers, which periodically change and are recycled between different customers. Further, if you are behind a firewall at work, everyone from your company can look like they're coming from the same IP. |

Re: Question on religious spammer
I agree, but its not that simple and could inadvertently ban others.

Re: Question on religious spammer
Banning the ISP would be awful, because I heard this Jesus freak uses AOL. How many 2+2ers would be banned if you banned AOL?
