2nd best hand? Jam it?
MP in this hand is fishy, UTG is probably bad as most 5/10 players are.
Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is CO with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG calls, MP raises, Hero 3-bets, 3 folds, UTG calls, MP calls. Flop: (10.40 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) UTG checks, MP checks, Hero bets, UTG raises, MP calls, Hero 3-bets, UTG caps, MP calls, Hero calls. Turn: (11.20 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) UTG bets, MP calls, Hero raises, UTG 3-bets, MP calls, Hero caps, UTG calls $1.30 (All-In), MP calls. This is where we get tricky. I see that going into the turn UTG has 3.1BB left. I'm not sure if I have him beat yet, but I am certain that I have MP beat. I decide to raise the turn to try and get UTG all in so I can win a small side pot off of MP for sure and possibly the main pot if UTG is ramming it with a big draw or with a now counterfeit hand (T5s or some crap). Bad logic? River: (22.33 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players, 1 all-in) MP checks, Hero bets, MP calls. Final Pot: 24.33 BB Comments? Results to follow. |

I'll bump it once.
Is it that uninteresting of a hand? |

Re: 2nd best hand? Jam it?
With UTG nearly all in, I like this move. If you just call down and UTG is ahead, you lose 2BB on the turn and river. By three betting and allowing him to cap, you lose 4BB to him, but gain almost a full 2BB from MP on the top if you expect him to call to the river. So if you're losing, you cna expect to lose the same both ways but win a lot more by jamming the turn.

Re: 2nd best hand? Jam it?
That's what I was thinking, and there is a chance I might have best hand at the point or have a chance to catch a Q on the river or something and win the whole pot.
