Default TPTK against 3-betting TAG.

I'd been raising kind of a lot, so I thought his 3-bet might be a little thinner than usual. Still, he had tight and aggressive stats.

I should've just call, call, called, no?

i prefer the call/call because you get a showdown.

the 3-bet means a good chance of AA/KK/QQ/JJ out there, which all smoke you, which will cost you money when they 3bet the turn (i'm assuming you're still calling down after?)

by calling, you allow them to bluff their money away with AK

I'd prefer raising the flop the most, as it's three-handed and I'm a big fan of fastplaying when it's not HU. A flop 3bet would tell you quite a bit about his hand and let you get away for a paltry 2 SB's if you think you're beat, and if he didn't 3bet then you get to charge the middle guy 2 SB's to draw at you too.

However, as the hand went down I'd rather raise the river as overpairs and AQo won't 3-bet you and worse hands (which there aren't many of) will probably get pissed off and call. AK will probably check but make a crying call. And you can safely fold to a 3-bet on the river.

I like raising the flop better, if he 3 bets the flop you know to just call call right there.

against 2 limpers, a raiser, and out of position i find it hard for villian to 3bet a marginal hand.

side track..., who caps this preflop?

Can you safely fold to a 3bet? Also what hands worse than yours call you down after a turn c/r? Maybe AQ?
