Default Multi-tabling Stud8

I understand that keeping track of what cards are live/dead is an important skill for stud8. When playing more than 1 table, this becomes too difficult for me to do. How much will this hurt my ability to play? Is it profitable to play 3 tables of stud8 at once and just ignore what cards are dead and folded?

You lose an edge, yes, but you make it up in quantity of hands.

I regularly play 3 tables of stud with the odd game of hold'em on the 4th table. 4 tables of stud is doable, but was giving me a headache so I switched one to hold'em.

The variety keeps you alert as well.
