And if the turn pairs the board? Or makes flush?

Call or push, whichever he doesn't do.

You donīt think he is very likely to sit on a set or top 2 on the flop?

Oh, it's very likely, but your money is going in either way. The goal here is to get his money in.

I hate slowplaying straights, there're just too many ways it can go wrong. SB has put in almost half his stack, minraise him and mop up the rest on the turn.

If he's good enough to fold his set, hooray for him.

Agreed. SB has told you "I have a hand, I want to get my money in." Don't risk a scare card coming off that could slow the action. Push it in now.

I disagree. No reason to let him off the hook now, you've got position and he's got more than half his stack in, neither of you is folding the turn, but putting in a 4th bet can let him get away from bottom two or an overpair.

You have two streets to get his money in, no need to rush the magic now.

I think pushing is the right thing to do, a huge amount of cards might scare sb to a fold on the turn, I would want him to put everything in right now.
