KK vs Rainbow coalition flop bet
Villian is a rock. PT autorate would call him a TAA, but he is not
450 hands 9%VPIP, 6% PFR, 3.2AGG, Hero is in the Hijack w/ KK UTG(Villian) Raises, Hero 3-bets, Villian calls Flop: A,T,6 (r) Villian Bets, Hero???? |

Re: KK vs Rainbow coalition flop bet
I know that agg is not that high given the number of hands he plays, but I'm still calling the whole way and betting if checked to. I think that I might fold to a c/r though.

fold.
Alternitively raise and fold to a reraise or if he bets out on the Turn. |

Re: KK vs Rainbow coalition flop bet
I think folding the flop here is wrong unless you really know your player. Often, 3 betting hands do not inclue an ace and you are basically asking your opponent to take the lead and bet at a flop/turn/river ace whether he has one or not.

fold. Alternitively raise and fold to a reraise or if he bets out on the Turn. [/ QUOTE ] This is a bad advice IMO. This bet either comes from an A, TT or QQ/JJ/99 (I have hard to see KQ betting). This makes it a WA/WB situation. Often the he'll take a stab by bet/folding this flop with a PP, hoping you dont have an A and will fold. The way to extract the most bets when he holds a lower PP is just calling hoping he'll also bet the turn. Just call down and hope he'll keep betting a PP. This way you win the most when ahead and also gets to see the river relatively cheap and by that you actually have to chance to outdraw him also (it won't happen that often though). Against certain players you might even be able to fold the river to a bet, but usually you'll have to call and in this case I would certainly call. |

Re: KK vs Rainbow coalition flop bet
The Villians AGG stats, don't make a difference to anyone.
The way I see it with a 3.4 or whatever, he is betting or folding. I think that his high AGG stats don't indicate a tricky player. Combined with his PF stats, I think they indicate a predictable player, whoi plays his strong hands fast and folds his marginals. I am not sure he would bet without an A. Do we really want to give him 2.5BB? |

[/ QUOTE ] One number can't give us all this information even if the stats were based on thousands of hands. Just as you say it seems like he's playing aggressive (and maybe able to fold pretty often), but I'm sure this aggressive player is able to bet/fold PP's here. I don't think it would be a good idea to give him 4BB on this flop. |

Re: KK vs Rainbow coalition flop bet
I'd call him down from here.
But if he C/Rs on the turn, I'd fold. bill |

[/ QUOTE ] He's calling down, if checked to on the turn he'll bet and fold if he get check/raised. I would play it that way unless the opponent is tricky in which case I check through on the turn to induce a bluff on the river and avoid getting bluffed on the turn. If we're ahead we're WA so giving a free card is no disaster. |
