Default go for the c/r?

$1/2 - Hero is SB, BB is LA, MP is LA, CO is LP

Pre-Flop: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
3 fold, MP calls, 1 fold, CO calls, 1 fold, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: (4 SB) Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Hero bets, BB calls, MP folds, CO calls.

Turn: (3.5 BB) A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Hero bets, BB folds, CO raises, Hero 3-bets, CO calls.

River: (9.5 BB) T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Hero bets, CO calls

Would it have been better to go for the c/r on the flop? I debated 3-betting or calling the turn raise in case of a higher flush, but thought it more likely he had the ace since it's only one opponent.

The flop could get checked through as there was no preflop raise and a lot of people tighten up when it comes 3 of a suit. Better to bet out.

Looks well played to me.

Looks fine, Checkraise flop might lose interest on turn.
You win more the way you played it imo(and lose).

Low flush though, So goodluck.

What about calling the turn raise since my flush is so low?

Being scared of a higher flush is weak/tight. You know how likely it is to flop a flush? Not very, less than 1% I think. And now you're scared that someone else flopped a higher one too? That's VERY weak/tight. You could have bet that flop with a variety of hands. A high [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], a queen, some sort of oesd. And the c/r on the turn means that either CO just turned a top pair and doesn't think you have the flush, because if he had a flush higher than yours, that turn would have been capped. No, you played it right.

When going for a c/r, you need to have a good idea where the bet is coming from. Here, there's no indication that anyone will bet this flop. Bet it out IMHO.
