Hand 1 I lead if he'll call down with a crappy pair, I like a check call if it'll induce a bluff.

Hand 2 I bet the turn if you plan on calling a river bet. You can safely fold to a check raise/river bet so this costs the same as calling a river bet, you might even get a 7 or better 6 to fold.

Edit: I check fold the flop in hand 2, is this too weak?
