Default Ted Forrest out of line?

Did anyone else notice that Ted took kind of a cheap shot at The Grinder by suggesting that he had been getting extremely lucky throughout the tourney. It did appear The Grinder had a lot of good hands but its all part of poker, I personally didn't think it was to "out of line" just wondring other people's opinions.

I didn't take Ted's comment to be a criticism of The Grinder and certainly not a cheap shot. I'm sure he's aware that catching cards is part of poker.

Not even close to a cheap shot. Forrest runs a big pocket pair into a bigger pocket pair and while walking away from the table says (paraphrasing) "Man, that guy catches a lot of cards." Big deal.

I didn't take it to be a cristism of the Grinders Play but to say "Well I went all in with tens and The Grinder had a bigger pair, like he has a lot this tournament". I know I will probably get flamed for this but it seems like Ted was trying to justify why he lost to The Grinder. Again I not offended or anything by what Ted said I just thought it was kinda a lowblow to point out that The Grinder has been getting lucky (a lot) to a National TV audience.

Ted is a considerably better player than Grinder...so I think he has a good arguement for hand distribution being the reason he lost this one.

Yeah, I think Ted Forrest is way past bitching about the hands he gets. He has been playing far too long to have no learned this about the game.

****NOT TAKING ANYTHING AWAY FROM THE GRINDER****

but I heard a similar comment from someone who made the final 10, but not TV table at that event. He commented something along the lines of, it seemed at the final two tables the grinder got kings once per orbit and they always held up. Sometimes people get an a crazy run of big pocket hands, and well it gets a little frustrating when it's not you...

Remember luck is still a big part of poker tournaments, saying someone got lucky is NOT the same thing as saying they played badly...
