Easy call for you?
High blinds, decent hand. Do you call this?
I thought it was a call... Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t400 (4 handed) converter Hero (t2560) UTG (t1275) Button (t2325) SB (t1840) Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. UTG raises to t1275 (All-In), 2 folds, Hero calls ? |

Re: Easy call for you?
Yeah, I call this unless UTG has been freakishly tight before this...like had a stack of 3k and has just been letting himself blind down...and I know he wasn't disconnected.

Re: Easy call for you?
You gotta put the pusher on a RANGE of hands, then it's a simple math problem. The average $22er, i'd call, the average $55er i'd be more inclined to call, the average step 5er call in a heartbeat (according to curtains/strasa2)

Re: Easy call for you?
You are getting more than 2:1, you have A8, you will survive even if you lose....easy call.

Re: Easy call for you?
Yeah, this is an easy call.
What is the best hand you would fold here? Villain is UTG so I would be hard pressed to put him "any two" but I believe with the 600 in blinds coming he is pushing anything resembling a hand. |
