Default Looking for Vegas tournaments in July

Next month I will be visiting Vegas for a week. I am interested in playing a few tournaments but every one I find has VERY quick blinds that seem to double quickly and/or rebuys, which I hate. The Borgata tournaments look great, but I am going in the wrong direction. Are there similar tournaments in Vegas?

My buy-in would be up to $200 for each tournament. Basically, I am looking for freezeout tournaments that have a "relaxed" blind schedule (if the blind levels are 20 minutes, at least have us start with a comparably high amount of chips so there is time to play).

Orleans open is starting sometime when the WSOP ends Orleans usually have good blind/chip structures.

But there are lots of daily tournies in Vegas now. Sure some of the structures are not optimal, but they are not optimal for everyone. I have done well at the daily Plaza tournies. The daily Orleans tournies also give you good play.

Yea, the WSOP tournaments have the best structures. Unfortunately, I am not going at the best time when the smaller tournaments are running. I would be willing to play in one of the $1500 or under tournaments but I won't be in town during that time. I will be getting in town on 7/4.

As Ken said, the Orleans Open will be going in July and should have everything you are looking for and more.

Best of Luck

I also saw that the Palms is going to be running 2 tournies a day starting next week. They seem to be $200 and occasionally $500. Hopefully someone can post a report about the structure once they are started.

Sahara for $62 you get 3,500 in chips and blinds start at 25-25 and go up every 20 mins. Best structure for low limit tournaments in Las Vegas.

I found the Sahara structure, fine the 1st 3 or 4 rounds, but then they start escalating fast. The Binions tournies also had good structures.
