KJo in MP1 - How would you have played this ?

This seemed like a fairly typical PP .50/$1 table, but no reads so far. I am interested to know if other players would have played this hand the same way or not.

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG+1 posts a blind of $0.5.
1 fold, UTG+1 (poster) checks, Hero calls, MP2 calls, 4 folds, BB checks.

Flop: (4.50 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
BB checks, UTG+1 bets, Hero raises, MP2 folds, BB folds, UTG+1 3-bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (5.25 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG+1 bets, Hero calls.

River: (7.25 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG+1 bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 9.25 BB

So you lost to 72o?

Why would you cap the flop? For value?

What kind of hands to "typical" players at party 3 bet the flop with? I can't imagine anyone getting this excited over a worse king.

probably would have folded preflop. i hate KJo. seems i always get screwed.

seeing as UTG+1 first, posted in UTG, and didn't raise, it is difficult to put him on a hand being an unknown, so there really can be no hand analysis really.

i would have raised the turn and called down to a 3-bet after that.

I propably would have played it just like you did.

I would not cap the flop.

Lately i have lost some pots in these types of hands, cause the villains have showed something like 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] at the showdown.

sorry - I want to add Kx of clubs (not KQ though) to this list too, forgot the flush - and because of that, I'd see the river cheap.

Shoulda folded Preflop though. KJ is only good in late and you're first or got one or two callers from middle onwards - I'd say - and you'd raise.
