Default NO set no bet - good or bad

With small pocket pairs (22-66), I generally limp with 3 callers minimum and check/fold if I missed.
Is that long term +EV or not? I don't have enough stats yet to determine if this play is worthwhile.

That post is an excellent one, but tough to digest. Don't expect to understand it without spending some serious thinking time.

Would you check/fold the following hand? That would be a bad idea. (By the way, I think my river play is questionable.)

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG calls, MP calls, 1 fold, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (4 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, UTG folds, MP calls, SB calls.

Turn: (5 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, MP calls, SB folds.

River: (7 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP folds.

Final Pot: 7 BB

If it's folded to me I bet, otherwise I get out.

that was a great thread. I have since really made a lot more money off my smaller pairs. There are lots of situations where they are the best hand after the flop, against pfr, who if played right we can get them to fold incorrectly, or, no overs come on the turn and river and win a nice pot.

also, I don't think you ever followed thru on your plan to post a hand like that with a different user name, just to throw everyone off. (or have you)
