To the right of a super-aggressive telegrapher
The other day, I was playing in a 3/5 200NL game with a guy that would grab the chips he's planning to bet with before I acted. He's also a super-aggressive player where his tendencies were:
9% - raise 6x BB (usually very good hands) 60% - raise 3-4x BB (mediocre hands) 30% - call BB (or call earlier raiser) with his worst hands. 1% - fold (if he's gotta pee) I positioned myself to his right so that when he raised 3-4x BB and I had a very good hand (AA-TT, AK) I would call and when he raised and 4 other people would call him as if they were limping cause they know he always raises, I would raise close to the pot size to win the hand pre-flop. My question is what hands would you call/re-raise or call/call with in this situation in general. Assume: - Middle position - You know super-aggressive telegrapher is going to raise to 4xBB - You expect 4 players to call his raise. P.S. After I pulled this move about 3 times, he eventually got gunshy and started limping 80% of hands. |

Re: To the right of a super-aggressive telegrapher
I have nothing to say other than I really wish I was in your seat. Being to the right of a player like this in a short capped buy-in NL game + limp-reraising = free money.

Re: To the right of a super-aggressive telegrapher
It was a very happy day. The better news is that I know when he will be back.
