In the first hand, I don't think I would try to steal this on the flop. If I did then I would bet less, probably 100. If they are calling for 100 they are going to call for 150 too. It would probably make the turn easier to play too.

I think the second hand I would probably play the same way. I wouldn't like it though.

hand 1.. ai chihuahua.. my poker stove says fold Q10 everyday of the week against the hands i could put Q10o against -14%ev. PP,AKs-A7s, KQs-KJs,AKo-AQo

hand 2) i think this is on of those hands that you need a plan with. and if your gonna push on the flop maybe its a good idea to push preflop
.. a read on your oppt would be a great idea here..
if the first guys tight i would say .. the equity for the first guy would be 10% more than your hand preflop if you were to put him on AA-77, AKs-A10s, AKo..

I rarely make such overbets. Also my plan wasn't to push any flop.

Yes. You can make a much stronger case for raising here, but the limp just doesn't make sense. If any appreciable amount of money goes in after the flop, you will be behind.

Yea, god forbid you see a flop in position with 2 broadway cards. Save those chips for your folding equity when the blinds get big.

That's a usefull comment...

I thought the idea of this forum was to post hands where you doubted your play to find out where you went wrong so you can become a better player.

Would you like to tell him how to wipe his ass too? When he wants your opinion on what level he should play, he will make sure you know.
