I'd be okay with check-raising the flop instead of betting out. That said, I think button will raise a fair amount of the time here, often drawing very slim, and give you the chance to 3-bet.

I guess button's 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] didn't look quite so good anymore. (If you assume that the button wouldn't fold a pair, a gutshot draw or better, or an A high, what could he have capped with preflop? I love maniacs.)
