Default Why David?

Why do you choose stud hilo? Why not omaha 8 or better? Would that not better mitigate Daniel's reading skill advantage? Or is he weak in stud hilo or particularly strong in omaha-8?

I wouldn't be suprised if Daniel was a very good Omaha 8 player.

Perhaps stud hilo is David's best game? Not sure if I'm correct or not, please tell me if I'm wrong.

Well, one of the best insights we have into true analysis of the "name professionals" is Barry Greenstein's website. According to him, Negreanu's best game is Omaha/8. So, perhaps that's why.

David, going Socratic on me here is like going existential on a lawnmower. Since I have not played you or Daniel in those games, the information is too incomplete for me to discuss. The difference between heads-up and 9-handed play is greater in stud hilo than in omaha-8, but that is only marginally relevant because Daniel probably knows that too.

If you are playing coy for a reason, then presumably you have discovered through derivation or sim a counterintuitive result that affects a lot of the middle ground on 3rd and 4th street in heads-up stud hilo. If that is true, you will not say it with the challenge outstanding. So I guess my question doesn't get answered, whether you have reason or not. Too bad that.

I enjoyed your responses to andyfox in the Goofy Games thread and to theBruiser500 in the you-don't-post-enough-content-thread.
