It's not that close in the specific situation you describe. If these guys aren't complete morons, they should have a fairly wide range of hands for an open raise in the hijack and a CO 3bet.

If it was a UTG raise and an MP 3bet with these stats, then it would be close.

Folding is a mistake. Calling and raising are close, I like raising if decent chance MP will fold to preflop cap.

I would cold call or fold. Someone said earlier in this thread they raise a range of hands. I agree and considering 3way flop you will have to fold to anything Q+

Postflop play of the other two players is a bit of a factor here. If they tend to give up somewhat easily after the flop then i like a cap. If they will take A-high to the river vs. a capper then i like calling the 3 bet.

some benefits to calling:
-you get to see if the original raiser caps
-you can raise safe flops to force original raiser to call 2 cold on the flop
-your hand is somewhat disguised and you may get excess action from TT/99 (which might just go into call down mode if you cap)

downside to calling:
-there could be sometimes when you fold the best hand on a Axx type of board
-may miss out on some preflop equity

this is why I folded...but I wasn't sure if I was just being a puss.
to me, TT is a clear fold and QQ is a clear call/raise....JJ just has too many ways to mess with you on the flop against 'most' tight 3-betters.

Not if they fold first.

No, it would be a clear fold. You're horribly dominated a huge percentage of the time and never ahead by much.
