Default Completely wussed out on a monotone flop

Not sure how to play this. The preflop limp-reraiser is a 23/8. My intention was to raise the turn on a blank, but I wussed out. I probably should have bet the flop, but again I wussed out.

YUP - you sure did. Glad you see it now.

Bet the flop - make the callers pay for their flush draw.

ew.

obviously bet flop, but since you checked, it seems like your call-down is the only appropriate line to take. it looks like SB missed his checkraise, and risking a three-bet on the turn simply does not fly.

The flop check isnt as bad as people seem to think.

But you have to raise that turn.

Um, because I wussed out?

I was also thinking, if I bet now and it's called around, then it'll probably check to me on the turn and I can't force anyone to face 2 bets cold. If I check and get blank, someone will bet the turn and I have a better chance facing opponents with 2 bets that they won't call, where they would have called 1.
