Big draws with deep stacks....

Normally if I pick up an open ended straight/flush draw,or top pair/flush draw type of hands I'm looking to get all in on the flop,but most of the time this means raising/re-raising about 2 to 3 times the pot.

How do you play it if the stacks are deeper?
Lets say blinds at 75/150, mp raise 3XBB, 2 callers and you call in the BB.Everyone involved has above 10K, you have 15k. You check a 78Q flop and you have 56 with a flush draw.

Checked to the button who bets around 2/3rds the pot,how do you procede?

Another example, sames stacks and blinds.this time you have QTs in the BB and flop top pair (the ten) with a flush draw,

Check to the raiser who bets the pot, you???

If this is too vague I'll post some specific examples.

This is an excellent question, which is very tough because these hands are so tough to play on the turn. One option which you haven't seemed to consider is betting out hoping to get raised so you can then push.

I have thought about leading out,if tends to give your re-raise more credibilty.The only part I hate is when no-one obliges and you see a blank on the turn.
I really hate having to check/fold to a decent size bet.

On a side point,if you have the same hand on the button and its checked around,are you betting 2/3rds the pot or playing it on the cheap?

I remember a thread a long time ago on paul phillips' blog that talked about how to play big draws. With shallow stacks, out of position, you should be looking to structure the betting so that you get some money in the pot, but still have some FE on the flop since your hand loses so much value on the turn if you miss.
With deep stacks, this might mean betting out, hoping to get raised so you can reraise all in and it won't be such an overbet. With shallower stacks, this generally means that you can checkraise all in.

I'm a firm believer that it's pretty hard to misplay these hands no matter what you do. Free cards can't really hurt you. Even calling all in isn't terrible, since you are ahead much of the time anyway.

Do you like to get money in the pot early with these type of hands to help you accumulate or do you like to wait until you make your hand?

I'm not calling any decent bet here,I'm re-raising everytime.Folding equity makes a huge difference to your ev.

It depends on the opponent. The tighter the opponent, the more I want to get the money in early and viceversa.

So are you looking for pot odds only if the turns a blank?
Your looking at a 2-1 shot most of the time here, are we calling a pot sized bet?
