Default Flush Draw...Enough Equity on Turn to Raise?

Prima .50/$1 10 handed

I'll try to make this look nice and get my math right

Hero is button w A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Preflop UTG folds; UTG+1 calls; 2 folds; MP2 raises ; MP3 calls; CO folds; Hero calls; sb folds; BB calls; UTG+1 calls
What do you think about the cold-call? BB had been cold calling all night, so I expected to see him stay in for 1 bet. 4 others to the flop seemed worth it.

Flop (5 players; 10.5 sb)2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
BB checks; UTG+1 bets ; MP2 calls; MP3 folds; Hero raises ; BB calls; UTG+1 calls; MP2 calls

Turn (4 players; 9.25 BB) 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
BB checks; UTG+1 checks; MP2 bets ; hero...

The question is raise or not. I won't lose BB. I might lose UTG+1. This issue is pot equity, right? I'm pretty sure someone on the board said on the turn to multiply your outs by 2 to get your rough equity %. Does that mean 9 for the flush, 1.5 for the Ace = 10.5x2=21%? Call, not raise, here?

What if you're checked to- -take the free card or bet?

Fold pre-flop. There's a good chance you're dominated.

I'm not sure about the flop raise since you face BB with two bets.

Don't raise the turn. You're only defenite outs are your clubs, and you are ~20% to make it on the river. Raising has a good chance of driving out UTG+1 & BB, which is not good at all. Even if you were sure they'd call a raise it's still not correct since you will be contributing 25% of the money towards the pot, but your equity is only 20%. Just call.

i like pf and flop.
call the turn. (i'd take a free card if offered too).

i doubt your ace outs are worth anything. likewise w/the nines.

but assuming you have 10 clean outs, 46 cards left. 10 outs. 10 / 46 = 22% so, i'd just call.

edit- cuz i suck at math

Preflop is OK. Don't get attached to any A's. I like 3-betting here sometimes.

I'd call the turn. Raising is a bad idea.

Preflop is close. I would like to see 4 players in the pot ahead of me (unless I knew the blinds were loose -- I would not want to be involved in a 4-handed pot with A9s against a PFR).

I don't know what the question is... with 4 players involved, you are putting in at least 25% of the money. But you claim to have 21% equity. How are you profiting from a raise?

Take the free card if given the chance. There's not much to gain by betting.

I typically would like another caller for preflop but I don't think it is that big of a problem.

Curious though, when/why would you 3-bet?

I would only 3-bet A9s on the button. Any other position is out. If the pot ends up being HU or 3-way, it should be fairly easy to determine if your A outs are good or not. If its multi-way, you can rely on your flush draw to see if you should continue or not. I would pretty much always 3-bet ATs in this situation, so I feel that adding A9s once in a while won't put myself in too bad of a situation.

Either that or I've been playing too much 6-max lately.

Call the turn. If it was checked to you I'd take the free card.

I fold this preflop every single time. I'd call if there were one more coldcaller trapped in between.

You don't have enough equity to raise the turn, nor do you want to face the other players with two bets. You want them IN.

I wouldn't count on any ace outs.
