I can't see folding being correct here with position and a 1 sb discount.

Where in SSHE does it say to three bet A9o in any position whether u posted or not? Sure the book teaches aggression, but a smarter, more tailored version...but hey, whatever u think the longterm EV is.

ah with A9o, sure sure...I can see your point. Actually not really, I prefer smart aggression over mindless aggression.

He got lucky the guy folded his AQ, AK, if he would have been called down he was screwed, which is not hard to see happening with 4 opponents.

If I'm at a table where my opponents will call down with a whiffed big ace eveyrtime in a 4 way pot you bet your ass I'm raising A9o, because my opponents have shown they dont know how to play poker.

I would have folded or maybe called.

The raise is better than calling if you are going to play it.

Look at it this way...the bad guy was three bet and called. He only raised. That is a lot of hands. He likely has good guy on AA, KK, QQ, JJ, TT, 99, AK, AQ?

He never stopped playing it like these.

Over at the Zoo some people play Q5s like it is AA or something. They raise always. One guy said Q5s was one of his most profitable hands. People dont like being reaised.
