AQo hits trips on the turn, gets 3 bet on the river

Alright, the first hand here was the first hand at the table, the next was the second. So I had no read on anyone yet. The first hand is posted mainly to provide the info I had available for the second. Yes I know I played the turn weakly in that hand, but his raise confused the hell out of me as to what he could have after capping the flop. I was slightly distracted and calling down requires little thought.

I don't think I'd be able to fold this river either.

You played turn and river VERY weakly. Holy crap.

Hand 2:
This is one really weird hand. I don't know if I'm a good enough player to fold the river to the three-bet, but it seems right.

The way the flop and turn player out, one of the villains likely hit a straight. Maybe someone had Q5.

Maybe we're seeing monsters under the bed. I don't know.

I think you have the second-best hand (UTG+1 likely has a straight). Fold to the three-bet, because UTG+1 will likely cap it.

hand 2-
i'd guess someone has either 33, 66 and decided to wake up on the river. not sure what the other one had though, maybe 22? tough putting one of them on 45, but if i had to choose i'd say mp2
and yea i would have a hard time folding this one

I agree that you played the first hand way too weakly. Unless he's a donk, he's not capping a better flushdraw HU. I would have 3-bet the river.

The second hand sucks. I don't think I could fold either.

MP2 had 45o for the straight, and UTG+1 had 66 for the boat, and I yelled obscenities [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img].
