Default Got slowed played good!

This hand confused this novice! How would you guys have handled it? I question whether I should have backed off and called on the turn when the villian 3-bet me on the turn. And, if I was behind on the turn should I have just folded because I really didn't have the pot odds to hit the boat. I don't have any reads on the guy and I only played 23 hands with him in the session. I didn't know what he would raise in the small blind. On the turn I couldn't figure out whether he had a couple of big suited cards and was on a flush draw or whether he had an A7s and had trips. Or even 77. Go ahead and chew on my butt. I'll take it as a learning experience. (I've mainly been lurking and reading about hands rather than posting them).

Probably don't cap the turn, unless you have a read he is laggish.

I don't think this is that bad. I'd probably just call the turn 3-bet (and not cap). It's a steal so the SB could've been slow-playing a 7 -- he also could've been slow-playing any other PP or just getting cute so I think one raise is OK.

On the river, you and the [Raise] button should become as one.

The only thing I would do differently is call the turn 3-bet rather than cap, but you knew that.

The turn raise is fine, but I call that 3-bet. Most players at these limits do not have the testicular foritude to bluff 3-bet, so when they 3-bet (especially on the expensive streets) they usually have something.

You river g00t, though. Jam that raise button until your mouse breaks.

You were too aggro on the turn IMO, I would just call his 3-bet . Everything else looks good.

Pretty interesting hand. Almost anything he's betting here either has you beat or has a pretty decent amount of outs to beat you. There's no question you should not have capped the turn. You should have either called or folded after his 3-bet. What to do when he first bets is the hard part.

I personally think you should have just called down from the turn bet on, but I don't completely like that because of what I said earlier about his possible hands having a lot of outs against you.

on the turn, id probably raise and call the 3-bet. calling down isnt because you have outs to the boat, but because he could be an idiot and taking a shot at you with nothing. although id be tempted to just call him down rather than raise...raising is probably better sans reads.

on the river, you cap this biatch. win or lose, its played alright throughout.

I think we'd be missing a lot of value by just calling his turn bet. However, I don't know what we beat when he 3 bets. I'm surprised and a pretty desperate when he 3 bets the turn.

Seeing SB come out firing like that makes me want to call the 3 bet. I'd probably tend to just call it on the turn, although I can see the logic in capping here too. River plays itself, quads be damned.
