villian in hand one is a little bit on the aggro side, but not a nutball.

The flop 3-bet does suck. On the second hand, I usually peel the flop...but im not certain that it's correct.

Yes, why go that far with A high no draw if you're not going to call down, unless you know the other guy only bets the river if he has it? So you got your free turn card, but really, you're only looking for 3 cards to hit. 44 is the same as A high in this hand as he's not betting the river with a better ace unless he's mildly retarded. I would've folded to the raise on the flop, but since you put two more small bets in the pot you might as well put two more in and hope he had a draw, although not likely.
