Yeah, but losing one more match than he wins would mean wiping out an entire year's salary. It is really hard for me to fathom even someone of his wealth risking that much money regularly in a poker game.

I would guess that it is not just salary based... something along the lines of... for each freeze-out, Wynn puts up 5% of the money... leaving Daniel with an overlay of 1.05.... Daniel will take 95% of the amount of losses and gets 100% of the upside... Wynn takes it is a simple operating expense which may translate to zero if Daniel wins money or a mere small relative expense on the income statement for Wynn Resorts... a rounding error of sorts...

that is my guess and that is how I would do it if I were Wynn. this might be in addition to some kind of a salary... plus full use of Wynn and whatever perks that brings... maybe includes 'release' with a massage...
