Home Improvement Update #1

A couple pics of recent workings on the new house and yard. Still no lawn but I did manage a swing set for the kids and the paver patio OOt recommended is going in now.

The lawn is troublesome - but it never got to grow last fall when we put the house in - so hopefully it will take off this spring. After the patio is done I have two big bags of grass seed and two sprinklers ready to get it going.

On to the pics -

Patio is pavers with 24" wall around parts of it for built in seating. Should be done by Friday hopefully.

Swing set - kit that took 12 fricken hours to assemble. Every nut screw and bolt was in one big bag - I highly recommend paying someone to come put them up (watching the kids play on it is totally worth the pain in the butt though).
