Default Flop trips... check, call, call.

Live 2/4 at Potowatomi Casino in Milwaukee Wisconsin. I’ve not been playing regularly, not a peak performance, and not sure on this hand.

Table is loose passive. My image is tight and on the fourth orbit I have not yet shown down a hand. The pre flop rasier is unimaginative but loves to buff and takes great pride in doing so. EP1 is weak and not so loose (for you pt freaks she’s probably something like 25/3/.5) and very straightforward.

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
EP1 calls, EP2 calls, EP3 folds, Hero calls, MP2 raises, MP3 folds, CO folds, Button calls, SB folds, BB calls, all call.

Flop (12.5 SB): T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
BB checks, EP1 checks, EP2 checks, Hero checks, MP2 checks, Button checks.
(The plan was to c/r)

Turn (6.25 BB): T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
BB checks, EP1 bets, EP2 folds, Hero calls, MP2 folds, Button folds.
(The thought was overcalls)

River (8.25 BB): T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
EP1 bets, Hero calls.

Why? I'd bet into the pre-flop raiser, let everyone drawing call 2 cold or fold, then reraise when it got back to me.

check raise when more then half the field has already checked? no, this is asking for trouble.
this is a disaster if it gets checked through, bet and hope someone raises. maybe if you were utg you could consider check raising.

On the turn id raise, and then play the river based on what happened on the turn.

I'd bet into the pre-flop raiser.

As soon as the Flop was over this was the play I wish I had mad.

You should have thought to do it once the flop was out.

Betting into him ain't bad, if he raises there's gutshots that you wouldn't mind folding out. I don't have a problem with the turn, as any raise will kill your action. I don't know why you aren't raising that river though.

Also, why are you playing 2/4?
