Fold vs. Call
I ran into this hand earlier today. What I should have thought about (and what my friend who was watching pointed out to me afterward) was that UTG was playing pretty tight and seemed to waiting for a pretty premium hand to push with. I was a little surprised to see only KQo but it didn't change the fact that I was only a slight favorite. Should I have folded here?

Re: Fold vs. Call
I don't think you have time to mess about here by the look of those blinds.
Firstly you might be in front, even if he's tight, of 99, ATs and all that kind of stuff. Secondly, if you lose this, but double through on the blinds, there will be two of you on around 1500 chips, so you're far from dead if you lose this. Lori |

Re: Fold vs. Call
If you fold, you suck at poker. Nuff said.

Re: Fold vs. Call
I'm a little confused, this was a live game? What were the payouts?
Barring a rediculous structure this is an easy call. --LoO |
